AuHost does not run a standard money-back or cooling-off refund on hosting plans. Plans are prepaid in Australian dollars (AUD) and are generally non-refundable once provisioned.
If you genuinely need a refund considered — billing error, duplicate charge, service we failed to deliver — email billing@auhost.site from the account email with the invoice number and a short reason. We look at those case by case. There is no automatic “yes”.
If the Australian Consumer Law applies to you, you may have guarantees we cannot exclude. This policy sits on top of those rights, not instead of them.
What this does not override
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, we will refund or fix the service if it is not provided with acceptable care and skill, is not fit for the purpose we led you to expect, or does not match the description in a material way.
A short outage, a plan that is simply smaller than you later wished, or a site that does not rank on Google is not, by itself, a basis for a full refund.
Cancelling
Cancel any time via support@auhost.site or billing@auhost.site. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep the service until the end of the paid period unless we agree a refund.
Domains and add-ons
Domain registration fees and third-party add-ons already bought on your behalf are not refundable once the registry or vendor has been paid, unless the law says otherwise or we made a clear error.
How we handle a request
Email billing@auhost.site. We aim to answer within 2 business days. If we approve a refund it goes back to the original payment method; banks can take longer to show it.
Chargebacks
Talk to billing first. A surprise chargeback can freeze the account while it is sorted. If a chargeback is filed, we can pause the service until the card scheme is done.
